Hi Beauties,😘❤️
Happy April! Today is the 2️⃣1️⃣st day of the month, our third month of prayer to be God’s Woman, one who is always Focused, Determined, Persevering, and Never Giving Up! 2️⃣1️⃣ is our theme since it’s the year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣. If you are new, we pray on the 2️⃣1️⃣st day of each month. We started in February. The goal is to pray for 2️⃣1️⃣ qualities over the next nine months. Please choose a designated time that works best for you. In order to stick with the 2️⃣1️⃣st theme, please choose a timeframe such as 5:2️⃣1️⃣am, 7:2️⃣1️⃣am, 9:2️⃣1️⃣am, 10:2️⃣1️⃣am, 12:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 2:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 3:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 5:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 7:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 10:2️⃣1️⃣pm, and so forth. For the length of time, please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray to God and seek Him.
Today, we will pray for qualities 5 and 6 listed below:
Quality #5: Be Determined and Encouraged to continuously live your life in full surrender to Christ.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
As you re-read this verse, let these words sink deep into your heart: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”.
Ladies, I encourage each one of you to live your life in full surrender to God. Since we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior, we are new creations. Old things have passed away, and behold all things have become new. Before coming to Christ, we were enslaved to our sin and we lived to please ourselves. But now that we are in Christ, we should live our lives in a way that is honoring and pleasing to Him. Surrender is hard, but when you seek Jesus continuously and consistently, He will give you the grace to walk away from your former way of living and give you a new heart to embrace His way of living.
Is there a dream, relationship, want, desire, person, or thing hindering you from fully surrendering your life to Christ? Personally, I’ve been praying for a godly husband for over a decade now. Through this season, God has given me the grace to lay this desire down at His feet and trust Him. I’ve often pondered these questions: “What if God doesn’t bring me an earthly husband?, What if Jesus is the Husband I’ve been searching for all these years?” As I reflect on these questions, God has been speaking to me to lay this desire down at His feet, live my life in full surrender to Him, and believe He is my Husband (Isaiah 54:5) regardless if He brings me an earthly husband or not.
All of our situations may be different. For some of you, you may have unsaved kids. Lay them down at His feet and allow God to work on them in His own way and in His own time. While you entrust your children to Christ, live your life in full surrender to Him. A living witness speaks more volumes than the work of human hands.
Ladies, all of our scenarios are different, but the main thing is for us to live in full surrender to Christ. Do not retreat to your former way of living. Do not live for yourself or for others, but for Christ alone. He is your Lord and Savior; live to please Him and not man. Let’s prayerfully lay down our plans, our wants, and desires while we lovingly embrace and accept God’s plans and purposes for our lives. Let us live for His glory in full surrender to Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Quality #6: Remain determined to be a godly woman who dresses modestly for her King.
1 Timothy 2:9-10 In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
Ladies, I encourage you to dress modestly. In quality #5, we discussed how we are all new creations in Christ. As a new creation, we should dress in a way that pleases our Savior. Our skirts and dresses should be at least knee length and not thigh level. Our blouses and tops should not be so low cut that it’s revealing cleavage. If so, a cami should be worn under it. This is not to be legalistic. Our style of dress should honor Christ and we should set the example for other young Christian women and new believers in the Church.
Let’s all be encouraged to dress modestly at all times while honoring Christ with our apparel. A good rule of thumb: When you are getting ready, dress as if Jesus was taking you out on a date everyday. Make the constant determination to be a godly woman that bears the fruit of modesty.
Quote:
“Dressing modestly doesn’t mean I lack confidence, it means I’m so confident I don’t need to reveal my body to the world because I rather reveal my mind.” Unknown
Keeping you beautiful ladies in my prayers.🙏🏽❤️Blessings to each and everyone of you! Please check back on 05/2️⃣1️⃣/2️⃣1️⃣ for the next set of qualities.
